No, tentokrát to nebyla loupeživá výprava, ale záchranná mise a po ní ještě druhá. A přitom jsme jen tak mimochodem kradli do vlastní kapsy. Já ani nevím, co všechno vlastně mám, jen to, že jsou to samé príma věci. Pár knížek, všelijakých lektvarů a...co tak může být na ministerstvu kromě knih a obracečů?

I am neither Ginny Weasley, Bridget Jones nor Tom Riddle...I really do not waste time to scribble some emotional stuff or whatever...

However...it might be the case when I occasionaly note down some observations as a result of research in the field of Dark Arts and Potion-making...therefore, as mentioned before, if you have something that was previously in my library (some books or notes, etc.), it does not bother me at all...the only thing that bothers me is, when students do not use the potential of the knowledge given in precious books and notes written by myself. Therefore, I expect your essay as soon as possible.

Well, same feelings about Quidditch....sometimes when I see our trolls from Slytherin I have a desperate need to cheer up for some other faculty. But imagine me shouting "Go Chang Go" or even "Go Weasley Go"...or "Go Potter Go (to hell)"

Maybe Slovaks copied it. I don´t think any other nation would come up with something that stupid.
So you can speak Slovak as well? How did you learnt it? Do you use some multi-linguistic potions (like "Slavic branch slivovits")? Or do you use natural talent?

Once you know one Slavic language, it is quite easy to learn another one. It is almost the same case if you start to learn Spanish after you know fluent Italian or French.

I am in Slovakia at the very moment...my Slovak is much better than the Czech languague, however, most of the literature I come across with is of Czech origins, therefore I need to get more in touch with the Czech language. Slovaks do not realize that the foreigners (even when they understand Slovak) have problems with switching to Czech language. It took me 3 weeks to realize the similarities b/w those 2. But to tell the truth, it is absolutely no problem here, since almost all the stuff running on TV is dubbed into Czech, all the films in cinemas are with Czech subtitles...I firstly thought that this was a special Slovak dialect

A Slovak dialect? Nice one. But I agree (again, WTF?!) they really are similar. Czech kids, however, often don´t understand Slovak anymore, because they don´t hear it in everyday conversation. Fortunately I live in Moravia, so we get Slovak T.V. broadcasts - but I wouldn´t dare to speak it -Slovaks would probably do something scary to me.
For me it was actually quite difficult to learn another closely related language, Polish - I kept using Czech grammar and "Polized" Czech words. German or Romanic languages were easier for me in that respect.
